Szanowni Czytelnicy!<\/p>

We are passing to you the fourteenth volume of the Salt Review, which is the year book published by the Polish Salt Mining Association.<\/p>

The works contributed to the Salt Review concern the issues relating to salt mining in Poland and abroad, with the concentration on geology, mining, industry, and the associated fields. The papers are printed either in Polish or English versions, with bilingual abstracts. All the works have been appraised by two peer reviewers.<\/p>

This year\u2019s volume has been devoted mainly to the K\u0142odawa Salt Mine, the co-organiser and host of the XXIII Quo Vadis Sal International Salt Symposium 2018, under the motto: A Treasure of the Kujawy and Wielkopolska Regions.<\/p>

On behalf of the Salt Review editors, I wish to thank cordially all the Authors, Reviewers, and other Associates for their sincere dedication to the preparation of the present volume.<\/p>
