The 13th International Salt Symposium "Quo Vadis Sal" was held on October 2-3, 2008 in Demanovska Dolina, Slovakia. The main topic of the meeting was the storage of fuels in geological structures and the risks associated with the exploitation of salt deposits. The symposium was attended by 96 people representing scientific centers and the salt industry from Poland, Slovakia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Israel and Spain.
