The 18th International Salt Symposium "Quo Vadis Sal" was held on October 10-11, 2013.
in Sopot, the main topic was SALT AND ENERGY: FROM GAS TO NUCLEAR
The topics included the following:
- needs for underground storage and storage in salt deposits, location conditions,
- construction and operation of cavern gas and fuel storage facilities,
- geological and environmental conditions for the location of nuclear power plants and underground waste repositories,
- impact of underground warehouses and landfills in salt deposits on the environment.
